Al Muntaha, one of only two restaurants in the UAE to receive four toques from Gault&Millau in 2023, in introducing a cheese degustation menu. The restaurant, which sits on the 27th floor of Burj Al Arab Jumeirah, scored 17 out of 20 in the latest Gault&Millau UAE guide.
Al Muntaha, which executive chef Saverio Sbaragli oversees, was praised for its “impeccable service and divine cuisine”, with the guide saying the restaurant now transcends regional acclaim to take its rightful place among the pantheon of the world’s finest restaurants.
As part of its drive to continue improving, the restaurant is introducing Dégustation de Fromage at Al Muntaha.
Available from Wednesday May 10, the eight-cheese degustation menu can be paired with either wines or non-alcoholic drinks.
Al Muntaha’s cheese and wine experts select the cheese and drinks, and guide guests through the cheeses and the wine or mocktail pairing.
The experience is served from Wednesday to Sunday between 2pm and 3.30pm, with a minimum group of six (and maximum of 10) required for it to go ahead. It costs AED650 per person for the wine pairing and AED550 per person for the non-alcoholic pairing. Sessions must be booked and paid for in advance.
